The ROI Of Saving a Life – Hospitals and Social Media

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Grant Sanborn who is the Director of Interactive Marketing for the Hospital Coporation of America to learn more about their social media strategy. Knowing that the health industry, much like the financial industry, is highly regulated, I was curious to find our from Grant how he was able to launch their social media campaign within its 17 hospitals located across four states.  

Grant shared with me the process he went through to start using social media across all their hospitals, some of the obstacles he was faced with, what social channels they are using and which one is out performing all the others and, of course, how they measure ROI. Hint…it has nothing to do with home much money they saved.
