A few things you may or may not know about me:

I am a serial networker (thus the name of this blog) which means I get out there….a lot. I love to meet new people and learn about what they are doing.
I am the Marketing Communications Manager for Awareness, Inc. a social media software company that helps brands manage their multiple social networks
I am New England native and not really fond of the cold weather, but I do love the snow – especially after a big storm. Beautiful!
I have two bachelors degrees. One in theatre arts and the other in marketing. After realizing I wasn’t going to make it off of $50 per week doing theatre, I got my butt back in school and got my second degree in two years – thank goodness I did.
I love to plan events that connect people together. I founded and manage NHTweetUp and for the past year have been organizing regular TweetUp and MeetUp events in New England
I am a mother of two girls. They are both my joy and my source of daily frustration
My parent’s have owned and run a party and costume store in Concord, NH for the past 29 years called Ballard’s (my maiden name). They also own an ice cream stand that I spent my summers managing and eating at while in high school and college.
I am a very shy person…really.
I am a closet stand-up comedian. Yes, I do stand-up from time to time. There is nothing better than making people laugh. See my latest here:
